Imagine the audience's response to that moment. After all, you would literally be in the same room with a guy cutting his own foot off, albeit a fake foot. I think it would be a worse cringe moment than in the movie (where I cringe quite a bit; my sister remarked during Saw 3D that I spent half the movie with my hand over my mouth [my primary cringe pose] although she spent most of the movie with her hands over her eyes, but I digress), and the movie actually shows him cutting his ankle.

I'd imagine they'd have to pull it off the same way the scene with Simone in SAW VI was or something.

I think for everyone who hadn't seen SAW before it would be a shocking moment. Everyone else who loves SAW would probably cheer XD
