Ok... Actually the person who made this thread has a good point. The gun Dr. G used to shoot adam was a revolver. Just a regular six shooter. This means that the gun simply has six slots to place bullets in. Every time you fire a shot, the bullet's tip is released but the bullets shell (CASING) is left in the revolver's holes in the gun. In order to reload after shooting all your bullets, you have to empty all the shells out and then put more bullets in.
So the point is that when Dr. G. gets a hold of the gun, the chamber that holds the bullets is completely empty. This means it would be impossible for John to actually be dead...in this case, pretend dead. Its impossible because if John really shot himself, there would be at least ONE bullet Shell/casing left in the gun.
So this was either an oversight, or a HUGE clue to Dr. G. to spot had he not been in a world of pain and panic. If he had grabbed the gun and saw no bullet shell he could have known right away that the man in the middle of the floor was not really dead.
Make better sense now??

Sort of get what you mean. He was a surgeon anyway, he knows what brain matter looks like. He should have noticed. Silly man..

Back to the topic. I don't understand why He would want one to kill another or the family of the one that has to become a murder will be murdered. Especially when he 'despises murderers'..

Gordon was an Oncologist which is one who studies tumors. Now he may well be a surgeon but it is unlikely that he was a brain surgeon. Why? Because Gordon referred John to Lynn... the brain surgeon. Lynn performed brain surgery on John.
Follow the logic?

Aha!!! Of Course!!! In Saw 3, when Lynn says to John: "There is no preventative treatment for what you have." John replies that she had said that to him previously "in that same cold, clinical tone.."
