Question About Jigsaw Saw II |
|
When the cops track him they say: On your knees. And if i remember the Jigsaw says: Sorry i can't. I'm wondering this. So why he can't?!? I watched this movie at my sister's house and she said that is cuz he is too sick to do that. Is that it or something else Thx

In Saw 3, we see a flashback of Jigsaw walking around and putting notecards around for Jeff Denlon. I think he just didn't want to.

I'd say that it's because in Saw II, when the police and SWAT enter the mannequin factory, he's in one of those electronically operated wheelchairs, as well as the IV attached to his arm, not to mention being physically weak from the cancer (and quite possibly the cancer drugs he was on), he can't actually physically manage it at that point in time. Although in Saw 3, when he is preparing the cards for Jeff and preparing what you could call Amanda's final test, he is mobile, albeit with great difficulty. I watched 2 and 3 again in full, to be sure

too weak... when you have cancer you become weak. also there is a time difference of 6 months between 2 and 3, and look at how he is doing in three.

I don't think so. You see, Jigsaw was in control already, he had nothing to prove. If the SWAT team thought he could kneel then they would have thrown him off the chair and forced him to do so. SWAT is not known for its kind treatment of suspects especially after they lose 3 or 4 people on their team because of them.

S'okay I was only able to get an accurate (or semi-accurate) timeline as to stages of John's illness, how many subjects there had been; and how much time had passed since the incident with Eric in Saw II, when I watched Saw IV for the second or third time and did the math in my head.
You're not stupid, believe me
Oh, By the way, hilarious avatar, dude

Brilliantly phrased. Exactly.
It was obvious to all the SWAT team that John was physically incapacitated to a degree that he literally COULDN'T get down on his knees with his hands above his head. The wheelchair definitely provided evidence to them that his mobility was severely compromised.

He was in a very bad state because of his cancer. He was hooked into an iv machine and was coughing and while he ate his cereal his hand shook, showing that he was weak.
