Meanwhile Hoffman went into the Trap, finding the tape in what is Gordons body, so Amanda could kill hoffman, but Jigsaw comes back after amanda leading into 6!

Was the game unwinnable because of the combination possibly being incomplete? When you get down to it, the test was for Eric (since his son was kidnapped and ended up in the safe in Jigsaw's workroom). This isn't the only trap that was unwinnable because it was someone else's (think William in Saw VI).

Excellent discourse on the combination. But how did you arrive at the number you chose for Daniel? Did you see a pattern in the numbers? And even if not, do you think that there was a pattern?

Good point. Even if Amanda and Daniel didn't have numbers doesn't mean that the other numbers wouldn't have worked on the safe (although if Xavier had all the numbers, would he have been able to figure out the order? He doesn't strike me as a rainbow expert, and with seven numbers there would be 5040 possible combinations [40,320 if there were eight numbers]). Did Amanda refuse to show her number because there wasn't one and that would have made Xavier suspicious?

I am still a bit confused about the colors on the back of the necks. Addison and Obi appear to have the same color to me.

It could be the lighting tht makes them look so close, but I still can't tell what they should be (one would be green, of course, but what is the other color?).

Also, I can't tell whether Xavier had a number or not. I have been watching Saw II very closely and so far he hasn't shown his neck really clearly, but of what I have seen there is no number. And another thing, his hair was extremely short in the back and he was wearing a crew neck T-shirt. Why didn't anyone see his number? Okay, if they saw it they movie would have been over sooner, but within the story, they should have seen it at once.
