Pendulum Video and Recording |

Okay, sorry but I had no place to discuss this... Finally found some bigger Saw fanatiks than myself though, love it.
So the video that Hoffman used for Seth, coulda just been taken from a Jigsaw video with new audio...
However, isn't it weird that the voice is Jigsaw's for Seth's instructions? Or is that the part I'm missing? If so why does Hoffman use his real voice when Strahm listens in his tomb? Will he continue to use his voice in the future movies? Or will he use whatever effects they use, so he still sounds like jigsaw?

It's Hoffman, but the audio is done by Tobin mostly :]
As for the doll, it's Hoffman's doll!
Every JIGSAW has a different BILLY DOLL.
SAW - John
SAW II - John? / Mystery Accomplice?
SAW III - Amanda (bow-tie is ORANGE)
SAW IV, V and VI - Hoffman (eyes STARE and has DIFFERENT HAIR)

I understand that the audio is all John's voice, or so it sounds like him... However, how did Hoffman get Jigsaw's voice for the Seth audio when he wasn't an accomplice yet. I really gotta go back now and pay more attention to detail. Had no idea the billy doll was different for Amanda, Hoffman, and John.

I prefer the original.

yeah there is very little differences with the billy dolls, except for the one in SAW IV flashback, with John and Jill, that one was tiny and looked harmless.

Hoffman probably just managed to imitate the voice perfectly. In reality however, it's probably Tobin's voice on that recording. Even the "Right now you're feeling helpless" part sounds a bit different in Saw VI, where Castos probably said it.
